A teenager was stabbed multiple times after a fight broke out outside a party in Moss Beach on Saturday night, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s office.

Police said officers were dispatched to Lancaster Blvd, a residential street about halfway between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay, at approximately 10 p.m. in response to reports of “group fighting.”

According to police, the fight was associated with a large residential party in the beachside community. When they arrived on the scene, they found an 18-year-old male who had been stabbed multiple times.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and was in stable condition. Deputies were unable to locate the suspect, who remained at large Sunday.

Police believe the stabbing was an isolated event. They are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Detective Deschler at 650-363-4881 or email rdeschler@smcgov.org.
