Sandra Gonzales is the Bay Area News Group's South Bay editor overseeing a team covering local news for The Mercury News and East Bay Times. Previously, she was night city editor and has spent most of her journalism career as a reporter, covering a wide range of beats including education, city government, courts and crime. She graduated from California State University, Fresno with a BA degree in journalism.
